Samir T. Badawi
CEO

Samir T. Badawi has served as Chairman of GSE's board of directors since 1995. From 1998 to the present, he has served as its President & Chief Executive Officer. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Badawi served as chairman of the board of directors of SLT Environmental, Inc. and financial advisor to a group of private investors. For twenty-five years prior to 1993, Mr. Badawi served as a managing partner of Ernst & Young International in the State of Bahrain, and in other capacities with Ernst & Young in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

C. Wayne Case ("Wayne")
Vice President, Secretary and Corporate Counsel

Mr. Case has served in this position since June 1994. Before joining the Company, he worked as the senior environmental attorney for the Hutcheson & Grundy, L.L.P. law firm from June 1990.

Ernest C. English, Jr. ("Ernie")
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. English is vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the vice president & general manager of the Products Division and as the vice president and corporate controller from March 1997 to February 2007. Before joining the Company, he served as the chief financial officer for Creole International, Inc. from 1987.

Richard H. Watts
Vice President & Corporate Controller

Mr. Watts is the Vice President and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Watts served as Corporate Controller of XServ, Inc., a specialty maintenance contractor. Prior to XServ, Mr. Watts was with Champagne Webber Inc., a highway construction company where he also served as Corporate Controller. Mr. Watts is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. 

Paul Firrell

Mr. Firrell is managing director - Europe/Africa Region headquartered at the offices of GSE Lining Technology GmbH in Hamburg, Germany. He also oversees the operations of GSE Lining Technology Ltd. in Waterbeach, England.

Gerald E. Hersh ("Gerry")
Vice President and General Manager, North American Operations.

Mr. Hersh is vice president and general manager, North American Operations. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Hersh served as vice president installation services from April 1996 to February 2007. Prior to his employment with the Company, he served as senior vice president for Joy Environmental Technologies, Inc. from 1994.

James T. Steinke ("Jim")
Managing Director - Asia/Pacific Region
GSE Lining Technology Company Limited

Mr. Steinke is managing director - Asia Pacific. Prior to his current assignment, he served as vice president international sales, GSE Lining Technology, Inc. since 1996. He previously served the company in various capacities since 1985.
