Mark C. Arnold
President & CEO
Mark Arnold is president & chief executive officer (CEO) since September 2009. Prior to joining GSE, he was vice president and general manager at the Lubrizol Corporation. In addition, Arnold brings to GSE over 15 years experience in the global civil construction markets at Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS). Prior to ADS, he worked for General Electric. His GE career began in GE's Manufacturing Management Program, and was followed by assignments in GE's Aircraft Engines unit as a process engineer, quality manager, program manager, and manager of technical marketing.
Arnold also served in the U.S. Army.
Charles B. Lowrey ("Chuck")
Vice President & CFO
Charles Lowrey is currently interim vice president & chief financial officer (CFO) and began this position with GSE in January 2010. Lowrey is currently a partner with Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, he was a Partner with Arthur Andersen. He is a CPA and brings many years of experience as a CFO. Lowrey has led many enterprises through vast and profitable improvements across a spectrum of industries, including manufacturing and waste management.
C. Wayne Case ("Wayne")
Secretary & General Counsel
Wayne Case has served as secretary & general counsel since June 1994. Before joining GSE, he worked as the senior environmental attorney for the law firm of Hutcheson & Grundy, L.L.P. from June 1990. Prior to 1990, Case served as general counsel for three different corporations involved in the waste management business.
Paul Cash
Vice President of Human Resources
Paul Cash is vice president of human resources (HR) with global responsibility for HR management. Cash brings vast and extensive knowledge in all areas of human resources operations. He has worked in the public and private sector with experience in manufacturing, managing union and non-union organizations, and has been part of the executive teams in organizations exceeding one billion in revenue and having up to 23,000 employees.
Timothy Keneally ("Tim")
Vice President of Global Operations
Timothy Keneally is vice president of global operations since January 2010. Keneally is responsible for leading all manufacturing, logistics and purchasing activities worldwide. With over 14 years of industry experience, he brings significant expertise in leading cross-functional initiatives focused on delivering corporate objectives and bottom line results in supply chain management, supplier relationship management and lean manufacturing process areas.
Edward Zimmel ("Ed")
Vice President of Engineering
Edward Zimmel is vice president of engineering. He is responsible for leading the global engineering organization in technical support and plant engineering for all GSE product lines worldwide. Prior to leading GSE's engineering organization, Zimmel served as vice president of engineering and quality control for the US products division since 2002. With over 24 years of geosyntheics experience, he has served various roles in engineering and installation management positions since joining GSE in 1986.
Peter McCourt
Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing
Peter McCourt joined GSE as the global vice president of sales and marketing on July 1, 2010. McCourt will be in charge of leading the company's global sales and marketing efforts, while building and maintaining customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
As a native of the United Kingdom, McCourt has spent over 20 years in international sales and marketing leadership roles. Most recently as vice president of sales for 8 years with ERICO International in Solon, Ohio. Prior to joining ERICO, he was at the Hilti Corporation in Schaan, Liechtenstein for 13 years, and held several major positions as president and general manager, director of sales, director of marketing and product manager, and regional sales manager. As an employee of global companies who operate in the non-residential construction and civil engineering markets, McCourt gained exposure to many different business practices and cultures.
McCourt has lived in Scotland, England, Hong Kong, South Korea, Vietnam and the United States.
James T. Steinke
Director of Asia/Pacific Sales & Marketing
James Steinke is director of Asia/Pacific sales and marketing headquartered at the office of GSE Lining Technology Company Limited in Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to leading the Asia/Pacific operations, Steinke served as vice president of international sales at GSE Lining Technology, LLC in Texas from 1995 to 1999. He has previously served GSE in various sales and installation capacities since joining in 1985.
Andres De La Barrera Muranda
Director of Latin America Sales & Marketing
Andres De La Barrera Muranda is director of sales and marketing for Latin America headquartered at the office of GSE Lining Technology Chile S.A. in Santiago, Chile. Prior to leading the Latin American operations, he held the position of commercial manager for SKF Chilena S.A.I.C. He brings to GSE over 20 years of Latin America experience in growth focused sales and delivery force leveraging all available revenue streams.
Steve Eckhart
Director of North America Sales & Marketing
Steve Eckhart is director of North America sales and marketing headquartered at the office of GSE Lining Technology, LLC in Texas. Prior to his current position, Eckhart has served at GSE in various installation and sales leadership roles from 1988 to 2004.
Stefan Baldauf
Director of Europe/Africa Sales & Marketing
Stefan Baldauf is director of Europe/Africa sales and marketing headquartered at the office of GSE Lining Technology GmbH in Germany. He has served GSE in this leading position since July 2009. He also oversees the sales and manufacturing operations of GSE Lining Technology Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Mohamed Ayoub
Director of Middle East Sales & Marketing
Dr. Mohamed Ayoub is director of Middle East sales and marketing headquartered at the office of GSE Lining Technology-Egypt S.A.E. Prior to leading the Middle East operations, Dr. Ayoub served as managing director since 1997.
Dr. Ayoub earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering Public Works Department in 1991.
