A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

GSE geomembranes are manufactured from HDPE or LLDPE resin. Materials are available in thickness of 12, 15, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 or 100 mils in either black or GSE White. GSE HDPE geomembranes are available with certification to NSF 61 potable water standard. An FDA approved grade of LLDPE geomembrane is also available. GSE is dedicated to the fabrications business with full-time sales, and operations support staff to support your specialty fabrications projects. SPECIAL APPLICATIONS

Many industrial activities involve the use or transfer of hazardous chemicals and liquids; leaks and spills are typical occurrences. Why rely on a cleanup strategy when you can implement a prevention strategy? GSE offers a high level of protection with its reusable, fabricated polyethylene containment pads. GSE QuickContainment pads can be made using GSE Conductive liner. The liner pads can be repeatedly spark-tested to ensure long-term secure containment.  WATER STORAGE BAGS are available in almost any size. These bags can be used to store from 50 to 50,000 gallons of potable water, waste water or for other containment needs. These bags come standard with a 2” fill valve. Additional valves or different sizes may also be available depending on your needs.

CUT TO FIT LINER is available in any thickness of material. Our standard roll width is 22.5’ for all material thickness with length varying from 340’ – 2800’ depending on thickness. This cut to fit liner can be used as root barriers, methane barriers or in a wide variety of applications.

CUSTOM FABRICATED LINERS, PADS AND QUICKCOVER are available for all materials. We can weld several standard width panels together for projects that require more width than our standard rolls can accommodate. These pads are available in sizes of up to 200’ x 200’ depending on thickness and shipping considerations. These liners can be used for decorative garden ponds, golf course ponds, secondary containment liners or any other application that requires a large liner pad for containment or storage applications. Typically, these pads are folded and palletized for shipment to your job site. These pads eliminate the need for field welding and can be produced at significant cost savings when compare to field welded geomembrane. For materials 60 mils or thicker, panel width is limited to 45’ as a result of shipping and packaging considerations.

BOOTLESS PIPE PENETRATIONS are usually prefabricated with 0.75 inch HDPE back plate skirts with either single or double containment HDPE pipes that are sealed and pressure tested. GSE’s prefabricated bootless pipe can be fabricated to accommodate slope angles up to 2.5:1. Once sent to the field, all that is required is to weld the skirt of the bootless pipe to the existing liner. This system allows pre- and post-installation testing.

VACUUM FORMED PIPE BOOTS can be thermoformed from either HDPE or LLDPE in sizes from 1” to 6” diameter. These pipe boots include a strip of neoprene for gasket material between the pipe boot and non-HDPE pipe. These vacuum formed boots are much more economical than standard factory fabricated pipe boots. As a standard, the vertical sleeve is about 3” tall with either a square or circular skirt about 4” wide. Other custom sizes may also be available.

STANDARD BOOTS are designed to slip over existing pipe penetrations in the field. HDPE geomembrane material used in the fabrication of boots can be specified equal in thickness and material type to the deployed sheet. GSE can prefabricate boot sizes from 1 to 60 inches diameter with a slope angle varying from vertical to 6:1.

SUMPS can be fabricated in HDPE sheet and plate materials ranging from 40 mils to 2 inches thick. Typically, sumps are installed at the lowest point of a sloped subgrade as a catch-basin to collect liquids from the containment system. This is a critical factor in any leak detection system. Sumps can also be fabricated out of GSE StudLiner and embedded into concrete.

GSE CURTAINWALL AND GSE GUNDWALL are polyethylene vertical barriers designed to block lateral migration of subsurface fluids through a patented interlocking mechanism and hydrophilic seal. This interlocking method allows a continuous containment on all design of any length dimension. GSE’s fabricated vertical barrier panels’ are available from 3’ to 22.5’ wide, 80 to 100 mils thick and custom fabricated into various depths.
