GSE Studliner

Q: What is GSE StudLiner?

A: GSE StudLiner is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) concrete embedment liner used to provide protection against mechanical damage and corrosive and erosive environments.

Q: What varieties are available in GSE StudLiner?

A:  GSE StudLiner is available in either black or gray and thicknesses of 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm.

Q: Why use a concrete embedment liner?

A: GSE StudLiner products are resistant to most chemical environments such as acids, bases and media which will degrade or permeate through concrete, causing the need for expensive repairs and service. The structural integrity of the concrete, combined with GSE StudLiner’s chemical and mechanical protection, results in increased facility service life and lower overall maintenance.

Q: How is GSE StudLiner different from other concrete embedment liners?

A:  GSE StudLiner offers the largest number of anchor points per square foot which provides the highest liner pull-out strength available from any other concrete protective system. GSE StudLiner is also produced from HDPE, which offers the broadest range of chemical resistance, as well as the highest abrasion resistance of all concrete protection liners available.

Q: Where would GSE StudLiner be particularly useful?

A:  GSE StudLiner is used in sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, lift stations, wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. GSE StudLiner is also used in industrial applications where chemical exposure is high, such as waste trenches, secondary containment, sumps and catch basins. Any place where there is a need to protect concrete from corrosion, erosion or mechanical damage, GSE StudLiner is an economical alternative.

Q: Who installs GSE StudLiner?

A: GSE strongly recommends the use of a trained and qualified dealer/installer. Contact your authorized GSE representative for assistance.
