Products

GSE makes high-end drainage products, so we spec the HyperNet by brand name. It has a very significant load capacity, allowing us to optimize the landfill and space out build-out. They’re one of the few that manufacture this. It got the job done the way we needed it done.

Geocomposites

If you require geocomposite drainage filtration to keep silt and soil particles from clogging the flow or to increase the friction characteristics, GSE offers geocomposites consisting of a geonet heat-bonded with a nonwoven needle-punched geotextile. It is an optimal solution for landfill liner applications.

Our drainage liner products are available in a single or double-sided with a geonet thickness from 200 mil (5 mm) to 370 mil (9.4 mm) and fabric ranging from 4 oz/yd2 to 16 oz/yd2.

GSE CoalDrain

GSE CoalDrain (Double-Sided)

Description

GSE CoalDrain geocomposite consists of a 300 mil (7.6 mm) thick GSE HyperNet UF geonet heat-laminated with a non-woven geotextile on the bottom side and an innovative composite fabric on the top side. The geotextiles serve as filters and separators, while the core provides liquid flow medium. The composite fabric has been tested by Ohio State University and is confirmed to be effective for coal ash disposal facilities. The upper filter geotextile provides adequate filtration without clogging or piping of fine coal ash particles.

GSE MineDrain

GSE MineDrain

Description

GSE MineDrain geocomposite is manufactured with a high-strength HDPE geonet core, GSE PermaNet SL (Super Load), heat-bonded on one or both sides with a GSE NW6 oz/yd2 nonwoven needle-punched geotextile filter. The creep resistant structure of the product ensures continuous flow performance over a broad range of conditions and long durations. The geocomposite works as both a great geomembrane protection layer and an efficient drainage medium. As a better alternative to the natural drainage gravels, GSE MineDrain is ideal for extremely high compressive stress applications in mining industry such as conventional and dynamic heap leach pads, tailings pond and dams.

GSE FabriNet

GSE FabriNet TRx

300 (7.6) mil (mm)

Description

GSE FabriNet TRx high flow geocomposite is produced with a unique one-step process that coextrudes creep-resistant columns to an intrusion-resistant roof. The resulting tri-axial geonet is then laminated to a nonwoven geotextile filtration media. This product achieves high in-situ transmissivity from optimally oriented flow channels that maintain porosity because of the intrusion and creep-resistant nature of the tri-axial structure. The geocomposite provides continuous performance over a broad range of conditions. It is well suited for use in surface water collection and removal systems, gas venting and landfill liner system drainage applications.

GSE FabriNet
