Bi-Planar Geonets and Geocomposites

GSE Bi-Planar Geonets are synthetic drainage materials manufactured from the highest quality high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. They are designed to transmit fluids and gasses uniformly under many field conditions.
Bi-Planar Geocomposites consist of a geonet heat bonded with a nonwoven needle-punched geotextile, and are designed to provide drainage filtration to keep silt and soil particles from clogging the flow or to increase the friction characteristics.
Bi-planar products consist of two sets of HDPE ribs, intersecting at different angles and spacing.

Description

GSE HyperNet geonet is a synthetic drainage material manufactured from a premium grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. The structure of the HyperNet geonet is formed specifically to transmit fluids uniformly under a variety of field conditions. The geonet is formulated to be resistant to ultraviolet light for a period of time necessary to complete the installation.

GSE PermaNet geonet is a bi-planar geonet with two sets of diagonally crossing parallel strands in a patented round cross-sectional shape. This unique strand structure provides superior compressive creep resistance and ensures continuous flow performance over a broad range of conditions and long durations.

Description

GSE TrxNet geonet is produced with a unique one-step coextrusion process that generates a bi-planar geonet structure with creep resistant columns connected to an intrusion-resistant roof. GSE TrxNet achieves high in-situ transmissivity from optimally oriented flow channels that maintain porosity because of the creep resistant nature of the bi-planar structure. This product provides continuous performance over a broad range of conditions.

Description

GSE FabriNet geocomposites consist of GSE HyperNet geonet heat-laminated on one or both sides with a GSE nonwoven needle-punched geotextile. The geotextile is available in a mass per unit area range of 6 oz/yd2 (200 g/m2) to 16 oz/yd2 (540 g/m2). The geocomposite is designed and formulated to perform drainage function under a range of anticipated site loads, gradients and boundary conditions.

The geocomposite works as an efficient drainage medium and is ideal for extremely high compressive stress applications.
