GSE announces the new hire of William "Bill" Urchik, Regional Manager/Engineer for the Northeast Region and Canada

Houston, Texas (January 9, 2012) - GSE is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Urchik to our North America Sales Team! Bill brings to GSE over 16 years of technical and engineering experience with an emphasis on geosynthetics. Bill received his degree in civil engineering from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario, Canada. Bill’s extensive geosynthetics knowledge will allow him to transition quickly and share his expertise with his customer base. He will report to Ryan Blanchard, Director of Sales for North America.

Bill will be managing our geomembrane product line in Canada and the Northeast Region. While Rod Kirch will continue to handle our GCL product line in the Northeast Region. Rod will also assume a new strategic role as Regional Manager for Upstream Energy (which includes exploration and transportation activities related to oil and gas industry, but excludes storage activities) specifically targeting the shale gas business in the U.S. Dale Geary will continue to focus his sales efforts in the Mountain West Region and support Bill’s transition to cover the entire region of Canada. The new structure is to ensure that we have the best sales team on the front line bringing our products and services to our customers. The scope of experience this sales team brings will undoubtedly strengthen the GSE network everywhere.
