FIELD SUPERVISOR I

STATUS: Full-time

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

•Develop project schedule with client, contractor and laborer.
•Manage job costs and production.
•Maintenance of field assets; i.e. welders, vehicles.
•Field documentation.
•Manage crews ranging from 2-15 weld technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:

•B.S. Degree (construction/engineering).
•Ability to read engineered drawings.
•Supervisory background.
•Two years of construction experience.
•Ability to read and write English.
•Lift 50 lbs. repetitive.
•Physical required.
•Extensive travel required.

SALES & MARKETING MANAGER - MEXICO

STATUS: Full-time

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

•Possess a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, •Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent. Well educated in the disciplines of engineering and chemistry with a broad based technical understanding. Have a sound understanding of operating a business office and business administration.
•Minimum 5 years sales experience.
•Must be willing to travel throughout Mexico for up to 60% of the time. Must possess a valid passport and other documentation to travel to the USA and other countries if so directed.
•Bi-lingual: Spanish / English: comfortable and proficient in reading, writing and speaking both languages. Primary reporting will be in English.
•Computer literate. Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Power Point.
•A good communicator with a positive outlook. Outgoing and comfortable with the unknown, easy to communicate with.
•Experience in developing, preparing and giving presentations both internally and externally.
•Possesses reasoning ability. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when dealing with both internal and external customers. A problem solver with the ability to see and understand the effect of actions/policies and changes in customer’s direction. Must be willing to work with the customer and able to distinguish between what is good for the customer without sacrificing what is good for the company.
•Have an understanding of international terms and conditions of sale, letters of credit and other financial instruments and shipping transactions.
•Self-starter with the ability to work independently.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Primary duties:

•Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for the territory of Mexico based on increasing GSE’s exposure and presence in Mexico, growth opportunities, pricing guidelines and long range goals and objectives. Plan to include but not be limited to business management, strategic planning, budgeting, profitability and market development.
•Maintain a through knowledge base of all GSE products produced world-wide.
•The promotion of and providing direct and indirect contact with customer base for the sale of all GSE products.
•Meet and/or exceed the annual sales goals established for the Country at or above the established pricing guidelines.
•Provide management with accurate and timely market information, including but not limited to competitor pricing, client position and market trends.
•Provide support and assistance to other assigned sales staff.

Other duties:
•Maintain relationships with manufacturing, laboratory and technical departments to provide a complete understanding of and information to client base in order to maximize GSE’s potential for award.
•Cooperate and coordinate with Territory Managers and sales staff where necessary to support their client base when they are traveling or otherwise unavailable.
•Organize and or participate in sanctioned GSE marketing functions, trade shows, sales conferences including booth set-up, presentations, etc.
•Maintain a knowledge level to support the addressing of issues related to industry, regulatory and agency approvals throughout the market territory.
•Serve as a support to other Company staff members in addressing customer complaints related to sales and technical issues.
•Support the accounting department is resolving any invoicing or accounting issues with client. Assist in the collection of past due accounts.
•Support the GSE management as necessary in the continuing effort to best position GSE’s products.
•Other assignments as directed.

PRODUCT MANAGER

STATUS: Full-time

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or five plus years experience in a related field.
•Sales experience with technical products or products having physical or performance specifications.
•Experience in multi-tier selling market.
•Experience in construction business.
•Knowledge of plans and specifications.
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of clients.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as, discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume.
•Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Must be able to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:

•Sales calls to owners, engineers, general contractors, and governmental regulatory agencies to convince prospective customers to specify and purchase company's products and services.
•Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts.
•Attends trade shows and conferences on regional and national levels.
•Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information form advertising inquiries, trade show, sales calls, etc.
•Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential customers.
•Handles inbound sales calls and converts calls into sales.
•Overcomes technical and business objections of customers.
•Provide management monthly sales report on activities in respective region.
•Determine selling prices based on guidance from sales management and market feedback.
•Manage competitive bidding process.
•Provides product demos to customers upon request.
•Emphasize salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
•Investigates and resolves problems with deliveries.
•Respond independently to customer (internal and external) requests, inquiries and/or questions from departments.
•Provide customer relations functions, maintaining constant contact with customers, and work as customer advocate if problem resolution is required.

SAFETY MANAGER

STATUS: Full-time

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

•BS or related degree in Safety field.
•1 – 5 years experience in Safety Management, training and MSHA/OSHA regulations.
•Have good communication skills with all levels of employees. Ability to read and analyze documents. Spanish language a plus.
•Must be able to work with percentages, ratios, and charting.
•Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and JD Edwards database.
•CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: CSP/Certified Safety Professional/candidate; 40 Hour •Hazwoper Training; MSHA/Certified Train the Trainer
•Required to walk, climb, kneel, stoop and or crawl.
•Will require plant and construction site visits. 50% Travel


RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:

•Handle all safety related issues for GSE Lining Technology, Inc.
•Conduct all safety training for factory and installation.
•Write safety program for GSE Lining Technology, Inc.
•Coordinate and follow up on all Workman’s Compensation claims.
•Handle all accident claims.
•Audit and update safety rules and policies.
•Facilitate GSE safety committee.
•Travel to site locations to perform safety training and safety audits.
•Perform hazardous assessments at all GSE facilities.
